Jorge de Albuquerque Vieira in the book Teorias do conhecimento e arte also gave me valuable insights about Gnosiology and made clear that I would enter the field of complexity. “We are victims of evolutionary irreversibility, we have gained a level of complexity and we often don’t know how to deal with it. That is the problem.” In this sense researching change processes in the cognitive system also means understanding
how elaboration happens in our social system. How could this research dialog with the “Systemic fusion between Art, Philosophy, and Science”?
The maps are mnemonic devices to recall fragments of theory and articulate the present moment. The paper boards bellow were used to elaborate the experiences and connect with the audience in the open debate.

How the structure happens?
Before studying an isolated experience it is important to understand how a basic level structure work in our cognitive system. This three components help to distinguish what aspect of the experience I am referring to.
We are able to form rich mental images and words can trigger in our minds memories of what we already experienced in our life. When I ask someone to imagine a bird, one image pops out automatically in our mind. We can add to it descriptions of colors, size and even aspects that where not experienced before as a bird. We could have seen purple before, but never a purple bird and somehow the mind finds a way to form what that would look like. I could also ask someone to imagine happiness, maybe one image pops out, but the more complex concepts become the less it is possible for the mind to find an accurate representation. We called basic level concept this that are easily recognizable across different persons and cultures.
We are able to perceive with our bodies using our senses. The perception of the gestalt is articulated in the description of how our senses are working in a particular situation. It is possible to describe that my eyes perceive more light coming from a certain direction and I am able to see a particular shape that makes me recognize and object as a cup. That when I touch the cup, the temperature of my hands lower and I perceive it as cold and this particular kind of cold is typical of metal. Together with the weight of it and the sound that it produced when I hit it with my nails, I can make an inference that would make it possible to be metal. All of this descriptions are focused in the way that senses are capturing the environment.
Our body is composed by bones, muscles, tissues, liquids, organs, systems, several parts that are moving together inside our skins and provoking also movement in space. The capacity to bodily movement is the possibilities that this living organism has to articulate all its parts.
The composition of one action let’s say for instance to reach my hands front and grab an object (as a capacity of bodily movement), my perception that there is an object with a certain shape and color, my imagination that recognizes it as a cup from a memory and connects it with experiences already part of this body archive, together with what it could be – this three elements are constantly creating connections in our cognitive system that we name as basic level structure.
